Nice to meet you!

I have been fascinated by all kinds of arts and crafts since early childhood. During my teenager years I found a new fascination in digital art when I started experimenting with Adobe Photoshop to make profile pictures and banners for user profiles of a writing forum. I learned tons of Photoshop-tricks in a very short time and quickly realized the limitless amount of possibilities within digital art.

During my Bachelor's and Master's I focused on research in Film, Games, Arts and Culture at both VU and UvA in Amsterdam. At the same time I kept designing posters and print work for study-related activities. The combination of practice and theory further developed my skills.

As soon as I got my first 'real' job I made the very best investment possible: my beloved iPad, which I bought solely so that I could try out the drawing app Procreate. My horizon instantly broadened and I could not help creating artworks everywhere I went. I started ordering prints of my works and occasionally created them on demand.

I now like to combine my own traditional work with digital art and illustration. Trying out new materials and techniques is something that I am always curious about.

I am very open to new ideas and would love to hear from you! Feel free to have a look around or click here to get in touch.

Best,

NOTE: All of my work has been hand-drawn with either traditional materials (watercolorpastels, diverse paints, pencils, markers) and/or is drawn digitally (Procreate, Adobe Photoshop). I do not use AI for my own work.

Mockups have been acquired from Etsy sellers and open source stock websites.
